Among trade remedy measures, anti-dumping is the measure that India uses the most on Vietnamese goods. India started using this instrument with Vietnam in 2007 with the anti-dumping investigation on Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL) imported from Vietnam. The Vietnamese products also subject to the most anti-dumping investigations by India are textiles and wood products.
Recently, India's anti-dumping investigation on Vietnamese goods has been on the rise, notably in 2019 and 2020, India conducted 4 anti-dumping investigations on Vietnamese exports. On January 21, 2022, India initiated an anti-dumping investigation on Vinyl tiles other than in roll or sheet form from Vietnam.
