07/12/2021 08:16
Germany is currently one of Vietnam's leading trading partners not only in the EU and but also the world. Over the past decade, two-way trade has increased by more than 80%. With the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) coming into force, import and export activities between Vietnam and the EU's largest market are expected to have positive breakthroughs.
However, Germany is a strict partner both in legal regulations and consumer requirements. Germany is also a highly competitive market, with large potential domestic manufacturing industries and many strong competitor from abroad. Therefore, in order to do business successfully in this market, Vietnamese enterprises must be equipped with knowledge, complete and up-to-date information about the market, and at the same time, it is necessary to fully exploit the unique advantages derived from EVFTA.
In order to assess the first year of EVFTA implementation from a Vietnam-Germany trade perspective, analyze the opportunities from EVFTA commitments and identify practical solutions to effectively take advantage of this Agreement to enhance bilateral trade, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) coordinated with the Vietnam FNF Institute to organize:
