Indonesia sets a center for promoting fruits exporting to EU

Indonesia has justestablished Fruit Export Development Center (FEDC) in order to boost exporting fruitsto EU. At the conference “EU- a potential market needs maintaining”, Ms. JunniSaraswati, operating director of Germany- Indonesia Trade Association, revealsthis is a part of the EU’ s support in order to encourage trade balance betweenIndonesia and EU membership nations.
Bed rooms’ furniture remains its leading position in Vietnamese exports

According to the official statistics of theGeneral Department of Vietnam Customs, the exporting turnover of bed rooms’ furniturein June reached 52.4 million US dollars, increased by 48.4% in the comparisonwith that of June 2006, which boosted the total exporting turnover of this kindof furniture in the first six months of 2007 to 276 million US dollars,increased by 27.4% year on year. The exporting turnover of bed rooms’ furnitureaccounts for 23.6% the total exporting turnover of wooden products. In general,in the first seven months, the export of bed rooms’ furniture is estimated toreach 332 million US dollars, increased 29.4% year on year.
