In line with WTO regulations, the process of trade remedy investigation in India is designed with the following basic investigation steps:

 

- Complaint

- Initiating an investigation (in the case of an anti-subsidy investigation, there is an additional step of consultation with the Government of the exporting country before making a decision to initiate an investigation)

- Preliminary investigation

- Applying provisional trade remedy measures

- Final investigation

- Applying anti-dumping measures

- Review (midterm, sunset)
