Fast Market reported that Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade has started the final review into anti-dumping measures imposed on stainless cold-rolled steel from China, Taiwan, Indonesia and Malaysia, it announced on October 3. The review satisfies the requests for it made by domestic stainless steel manufacturers - including Posco VST and Inox Hoa Binh to the ministry on September 12. The ministry’s Department of Trade Remedies should complete the final review by July 2019, although the deadline may be extended by a maximum of three months if necessary.

Yuba Bicycles, maker of both electric and pedal cargo bicycles, has issued a response to the rounds of anti-dumping tariffs issued on August 10 and September 17, resulting in a 25 percent tariff to be applied to electric bikes and a 10 percent tariff to be applied to pedal bikes manufactured in China. This similarly just occurred in Europe with an anti-dumping against China of 23 percent to 183 percent in a strategic move to incentivize European assembly.
