U.S. DoC initiates AD and CVD investigations of imports of Vertical Metal File Cabinets from China

Today, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced the initiation of new antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations to determine whether vertical metal file cabinets from China are being dumped in the United States and to determine if producers in China are receiving unfair subsidies.
Ukraine introduces prohibitive duties on cement from Russia, Belarus, Moldova

The interdepartmental commission for international trade on May 21 decided to introduce antidumping duties on imported cement clinkers and Portland cement in the amount of 114.95 percent for goods originated from the Russian Federation, 57.03 percent for goods from Belarus and 94.46 percent for goods from Moldova, the Economic Development and Trade Ministry has reported on its website.
U.S. Issues Preliminary Determination that Chinese Aluminum Exported from Vietnam Circumvents AD/CVD Orders

The U.S. Department of Commerce has determined preliminarily that extruded aluminum products made from aluminum previously extruded in China and then exported from Vietnam constitute merchandise completed or assembled in other foreign countries and therefore circumvent antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders on aluminum extrusions from China. This applies regardless of producer, exporter or importer.
