Glass producer opposes maximum extension of safeguard measures

World’s leading glass producer Guardian Industries Corp. has strongly opposed the petition of Asahi Glass Philippines for a maximum extension of safeguard measures for a total of 10 years and instead urged the Philippine government to impose anti-dumping or tariff rate quota to targetted countries that clearly dumped clear float and tinted float glass products into the country.

Geofabrics Australasia, which makes engineering construction products including landfill lining materials, is celebrating a decision by the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service, which has agreed German textile manufacturer Naue depressed prices, reduced sales and caused material injury to the local industry by dumping goods into the market. Naue will now be slapped with a notice imposing an anti-dumping duty on it for five years

Putin has not yet signed the draft, so the draft has no legal effect and Russia is still negotiating with Chinese side.
