Pakistan contests anti-dumping duty on textile goods: Turkish decision next month

ISLAMABAD : The complaints filed by the Turkish textile manufacturers to impose anti-dumping duty on the import of textile goods from Pakistan have failed to comply with the basic legal requirements of Turkish Safeguard Laws (TSL) while the decision of the hearing against the anti-dumping may be announced in coming April.
Chinese Ceramics Enterprises Faced with EU Punitive Tariffs

Recently, the EU made a preliminary ruling on the anti-dumping investigation into ceramics exported from China, none of the 1,500 Chinese ceramics enterprises gained market economy status and a maximum of 73% provisional punitive tariff will be levied, the final results will be released in six months.
Poor Nations Call for Help with Using WTO Trade Remedies

Helping small, poor countries make use of WTO trade remedy rules was the subject of discussion in the rules negotiations this week, as the group of African, Caribbean, and Pacific (ACP) called for the creation of a ‘facility’ to assist developing countries in developing the institutions and expertise they need to protect domestic industries from dumped or subsidised imports.
