Score One For China in WTO Steel Anti-Dumping Ruling Against US

Looks like there’s quite a development in US-China trade relations this week, as we continue to learn more about how the WTO ruled in an anti-dumping case that has a history all the way back to 2007 – bottom line, the news is not so good for the US. Ultimately, this anti-dumping ruling could be another hit to the US economy amidst what is seen by many as a broken trade system.
European footwear alliance welcomes end of anti-dumping duties on leather footwear ex China and Vietnam

Following the publication of the notice of expiry of certain antidumping measures today, the European footwear alliance (EFA) welcomes the end of EU anti dumping duties on leather footwear on April 1, 2011. Although the positive news of termination was shared already at the beginning of January it is only now that our industry can start planning and developing its future business strategies for footwear.
US antidumping duty order on Russian magnesium to end April 15

The US antidumping duty order on magnesium metal from Russia will officially be revoked April 15, following a sunset review vote from the US International Trade Commission in February, according to a Department of Commerce notice published in Thursday's Federal Register. April 15 is the fifth anniversary of the publication date of the antidumping duty order.
