Vietnam’s aquatic export recovery has yet to meet expectations although the negative growth rate has been eased, prompting businesses to further explore small markets in order to raise their sales.

India has imposed anti‑dumping duty (ADD) on most stainless‑steel seamless tube and pipe (HS Code 7304) imports from China. In a notification issued on 20 December 2022, the Ministry of Finance’s Central Board for Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) stated that ADD was imposed because the goods have been exported to India below normal values, causing material injury to domestic producers.

On August 30, the General Department of Customs, in collaboration with the Academy of Finance, organised a national seminar with the theme: "The role of finance in supporting export-import businesses in the new situation."

The UK steel sector welcomes the continuation of anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures on hot-rolled flat steel imports into the UK until 2027 and supports the termination of the measure on imports from Ukraine, the UK Steel Association told S&P Global Commodity Insights on Aug. 31.

The subsidization of the CFP industry for Chinese producers could be a concern for EU markets, according to the European Commission
