On September 25, 2024, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) officially initiated an anti-dumping (AD) and anti-subsidy investigation into corrosion-resistant steel (CORE steel) imported from Vietnam.

On 18/10/2024, The United States International Trade Commission (USITC) has made preliminary conclusion affirming injury due to dumping and subsidization.
