On May 25, 2018, The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced the initiation of an anti-dumping (AD) investigation and anti-subsidy (CVD) investigation on Cold-Rolled Steel imported from China, South Korea and Vietnam.

Goods under investigation: Cold-Rolled Steel in rolls or short cuts– HS Code: 7209.15.00.00; 7209.16.00.00; 7209.17.00.00; 7209.18.00.00; 7209.25.00.00; 7209.26.00.00; 7209.27.00.00; 7209.28.00.00; 7209.90.00.00; 7211.23.00.00; 7211.29.00.00; 7211.90.00.00; 7225.50.00.00 used to the manufacture household appliances, steel pipes, furniture. Cold-rolled steel products used for automobile production are exempt from the subject of the investigation.
 

3. Petitioner: ArcelorMittal Dofasco G.P. Company.

 

4. Investigation period: from April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018.
