Australia - findings of review publishing on circular hollow sections

The Australian Customs Service (Customs) has completed its review of the anti-dumping measures applying to exports of certain hot dip galvanised, welded, circular hollow sections (HDG CHS) exported to Australia from Thailand. The review commenced on 28 April 2008.
The goods covered by the review are hot dip galvanised (HDG), welded, circular hollow sections (CHS), steel pipe in nominal sizes DN 15-100, commonly produced to a standard such as British Standard BS1387 or Australian Standard AS1074.
The goods are classified to the tariff subheadings of Schedule 3 to the Customs Tariff Act 1995 as shown in the table below. The current developing country rate of duty applicable to imports from Thailand is 4%.
