On May 12, 2017, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam issued a decision to initiate a global safeguard investigation on fertilizer products imported into Vietnam from other countries and territories.

On March 02, 2018, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 686/QĐ-BCT on the official safeguard measures as below:
