US makes preliminary AD ruling on UAE’s circular welded steel pipes

According to the preliminary result of the anti-dumping (AD) duty administrative review, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) preliminarily determined that the UAE’s producers/exporters of circular welded carbon-quality steel pipes sold the subject products at prices lower than normal value in the US market during the period of review from December 1, 2020 to November 30, 2021.
The weighted-average dumping margin set for Ajmal Steel Tubes & Pipes was 4.94%, that for Universal Tube and Plastic Industries was 2.61%, and that for Conares Metal Supply, K.D. Industries, and TSI Metal Industries was at 3.57%.
The products involved are under HS codes 7306.19.1010, 7306.19.1050, 7306.19.5110, 7306.19.5150, 7306.30.1000, 7306.30.5015, 7306.30.5020, 7306.30.5025, 7306.30.5032, 7306.30.5040, 7306.30.5055, 7306.30.5085, 7306.30.5090, 7306.50.1000, 7306.50.5030, 7306.50.5050, and 7306.50.5070.
The preliminary determination was applicable from December 28, 2022.
