US maintains CVD order on Turkey’s circular welded carbon steel pipes

According to the final results of the expedited sunset review of the countervailing duty (CVD) order, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) found that revoking the existing CVD order on circular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes from Turkey would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of countervailable subsidies.
The net countervailable subsidy rate for Borusan Group was 1.80%, for Yucel Boru Group was 2.04%, and for Bant Boru Sanayi ve Ticaret AS, Erbosan, and all other Turkish producers and exporters was set at 4.10%.
The products involved are under HS codes 7306.30.10.00, 7306.30.50.25, 7306.30.50.32, 7306.30.50.40, 7306.30.50.55, 7306.30.50.85, and 7306.30.50.90.
This determination was applicable on April 24, 2023.
