According to a result of the five-year reviews, the US International Trade Commission (USITC) determined that revocation of the anti-dumping (AD) duty orders on certain welded stainless steel pipes from South Korea and Taiwan would be likely lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US steel industry within a reasonably foreseeable time.
The weighted-average dumping margin for South Korea was maintained at 17.14%, and that for Taiwan was up to 31.90%.
These reviews were instituted by the USITC on May 2, 2022, and it determined on August 5, 2022 that it would conduct expedited reviews.
