US delays anti-dumping tax review on Vietnam's tra exports

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has postponed announcing the result of an anti-dumping tax review on Vietnam's exports of frozen tra.
The Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers said the DOC, which was to have made its announcement on January 14, had postponed its decision until March 12.
It began reviewing the case in September 2014.
Vietnam's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Le Hai Binh expressed disappointment In December 2015 about the US Department of Agriculture's ruling on fish inspection. including Vietnam's tra and basa fish.
Binh said Vietnamese firms followed market mechanisms, food hygiene and safety regulations when it came to exporting tra and basa fish, which are popular in the US.
