In 2022, the export value of forest products is estimated at US $16.5 billion, up 4% compared to 2021, with a trade surplus of about US $13 billion. It is happy with the results achieved, but Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Quoc Tri shared many signs entering 2023 that the industry will face many difficulties in exporting wood and non-timber forest products.
