Argentina Takes Interim Anti-dumping on Chinese Single-Phase Alternators

On June 26, 2012, Argentina's foreign-trade authority noticed China's commercial counselor that Argentina has decided to levy a provisional antidumping (AD) duty on single-phase alternating-current generators (Mercosur HS Code 85014019) made in China, excluding those used for industrial sewing machines with brakes and clutches, according to its economic ministerial resolution no. 294 of 2012.

On June 26, 2012, Argentina's foreign-trade authority noticed China's commercial counselor that Argentina has ended an antidumping (AD) probe on paper and cardboards (Mercosur HS Codes 48101389, 48101390, 48101989, 48101990) made in China, Finland, Austria and the U.S. with final antidumping duties imposed at 39.56%, 91%, 98% and 63.51% respectively, according to its economic ministerial resolution no. 298 of 2012.
Bosch reveals support for AD tariffs against Chinese manufacturers in EU

Chairman Franz Fehrenbach recently revealed in an interview, with German publication Handesblatt, his support for the imposition of anti-dumping tariffs on Chinese manufacturers exporting to the EU. Jefferies has predicted doom and gloom for the Chinese market stating that, “With Bosch we believe SolarWorld will have the necessary support to move forward with its dumping case.”
