Viet Nam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) has initiated a final review investigation regarding anti-dumping measures applied to certain H-section steel products originating from China.

According to Official Decision No. 1454/QD-BCT, the existing anti-dumping duties under case code ER02.AD03 will be re-examined.

The H-section steel products subject to the investigation include alloyed and non-alloyed products classified under HS codes 7216.33.11, 7216.33.19, 7216.33.90, 7228.70.10, and 7228.70.90 of Viet Nam’s tariff schedule. H-sections with a height of 704 mm or more and a width of 303 mm or more, as well as products sized 100 mm × 55 mm and 120 mm × 64 mm, are excluded from the scope of the current measures and review.

Following the decision, the investigating authority will distribute questionnaires to relevant producers, importers, and exporters for data collection.

Stakeholders wishing to preserve their rights are required to register as interested parties within 60 working days from the announcement of the decision via the Trade Remedies Online Filing System or by post. After verification of the collected information and evidence, the ministry will issue its final decision.
