U.S. Sunset-Review Injury Ruling on Some Steel Pipes from Germany

On August 21, 2012, the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) announced an antidumping (AD) sunset-review final ruling that revoking the existing antidumping duty order on small-bore seamless carbon and alloy steel standard, line, and pressure pipes from Germany would lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to American industries within a reasonably foreseeable time.

Thailand opens Anti-dumping probe into carbon, stainless CRC

Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce has launched anti-dumping investigations into imports of carbon and stainless steel cold rolled coils, while also initiating a review of existing duties against hot rolled coil imports from Korea. These probes commenced on 17 August, the date of their notification in the Thai Royal Gazette, ministry officials told Platts Steel Business Briefing.
