US to apply anti-dumping tariffs to Chinese wire rod

The United States International Trade Commission determined that a US industry is materially injured by reason of imports of carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod from China. The US Department of Commerce had previously determined these imports were subsidised and sold in the United States at less than fair value.

The Anti-Dumping & Subsidies Commission (ADSC) will be hosting a two-day training seminar on March 4 and 5, 2015 titled: “Unleash the Power of International Trade Rules”. The seminar will cover anti-dumping, subsidies countervail, safeguards, rules of origin and World Trade Organization (WTO) dispute settlement.
