More than 300,000 Chinese products were withdrawn by the US

After the massive wave of calling back and banning Chinese products in many countries all over the world in the recent weeks, on 22nd August, Consumer Product Safety Committee (CPSC) of the America gave the order to get back more than 300,000 products made in China because the paint on the surface of those products contains the amount of lead which is higher than approved.
The quantity of products called back by CPSC in this campaign include approximately 250,000 address books and magazines which are printed the pictures of SpongeBob SquarePants, a familiar cartoon character in the cartoon shown on Nickelodeon cable TV channel because the paint in their metal twist back contains the excessive amount of lead. This kind of address books has been imported by Martin Designs Inc Company and sold in stores all over the country from June 2006 to July 2007 at the price of 2 USD.
In this latest withdrawal, there are about 66,000 spinning tops which are designed basing on the series “Thomas and Friends” and 4,700 toy buckets which have been sold in the gift shops in the America widely from July 2001 to July 2002. Those toys, imported by a private company called Schylling Associates Inc locating in Massachusetts, were got back because of the existence of unacceptable amount of lead in their wooden clubs.
CPSC also suggests consumers return about 7,900 child bracelets named “Deities and Saints’ Inspiration” (imported by Buy-Right Designs Company) which have been sold from August 2006 to May 2007 and nearly 14,000 Toby & Me jewel sets (consisting of necklaces, bracelets, rings, ear rings, necklace pendants) sold in T.J. Max and Marshalls’ chain shops of TJX Cos Inc because of the same reason.
