Proposal for a Council Regulation imposing a definitive anti-dumping duty and collecting definitively the provisional duty imposed on imports of certain continuous filament glass fibre products originating in China
This proposal concerns the application of Council Regulation (EC) No 1225/2009 on protection against dumped imports from countries not members of the European Community in the proceeding concerning imports of certain continuous filament glass fibre products originating in China. Provisional measures are in force and were imposed by Commission Regulation (EU) No 812/2010. Interested parties concerned by the proceeding have had the possibility to defend their interests during the investigation. This proposal for a Council Regulation is based on the definitive findings which have confirmed the existence of dumping causing injury, and the fact that the imposition of measures is not against the overall Union interest. The provisional findings were in general confirmed, but the product scope has been narrowed and changes to the calculation of dumping and injury have resulted in a reduction of the duty levels. It is proposed that the Council adopt the proposal and that it be published no later than 16 March 2011. It provides for an anti-dumping duty of 7.3% to be set for Changzhou New Changhai Fiberglass Co Ltd and Jiangsu Changhai Composite Materials Holding Co Ltd with a rate of 13.8% for all other companies.
