China to protect “Made in China” products against criticism from US

Recently, many Americans are strongly opposed to the unsafe food sourced from China, while on the other hand, the Chinese drastically reacted to regain their prestige.

The fight began with US’s detection of harmful substances to people’s health in some food from China. While still being obsessed by this discovery, Americans suddenly realized dangerous substances in many kinds of China –sourced food such as buckwheat, fruits, spice and cattle-food. Most foodstuff of China is imported to America. In the event of some unclear death but considered to be related to food, America is trying to criticize at China.

Many American companies have recommended their customers not use food imported from China. Typically, a food manufacturer has implemented the ostracism on China goods by not using material of this country and labeled: “ no Chinese goods” on their products. What is the reaction of China in this situation? Keeps silence? Explains weakly or continues to do business with America? China, before such sensitive situation, has take action and reacted against American products and not only on food manufacturing sector.

In response to these moves, China has used the investigation results provided by national media agency to disclose the exhausted business of America. They mentioned the unfavorable cases for America such as the death of one youth due to the explosion of the mobile phone that he used.

Moreover, China recommended people not use contacted-lens glasses made by an America company named Advanced Medical Optics if they did not want to be blind forever. China also reminisced about the fact that America used to be afflicted by the quality of beef of this country. China was trying to absolve for its products’ quality using the research results and activities showing their positive remorse. In Washington, China had gathered a channel of specialist to do the lobby. In Beijing, Government sought for the advices from non-government companies as Ogilvy and Edelman on how to pass the positive messages from China to America. These activities resulted in a movement of “Made in China” protection through the provision of accurate information about quality of Chinese goods to its consumers and to the world. Chinese Government was confident that their goods were completely safe and irrelevant to some death. They also informed about the timely actions to punish irresponsible members of government such as the close of 180 factories who had put chemical substances into food and the death sentence to Zheng Xiaoyu, Director of China Food and Drug Administration. This movement is continuing with a lot of effective and thorny political strategies. What is the result?

The fight between the two sides is still very drastic. China wishes to prove that the business of America is very bad also and what happened to them was only an accident.
