On June 25th 2012, Brazil's Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade initiated an anti-dumping investigation on the import of motorcycle tires from Vietnam, Thailand, People's Republic of China and Chinese Taiwan.

On January 18, 2012, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) officially decided to initiate an anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigation on steel wire garment hangers imported from Vietnam. Nam and anti-dumping investigation on steel coat hangers originating from Taiwan based on the previous complaint filed on December 29, 2011.
