Against what type of subsidies may countervailing measures be imposed in EU?
18/06/2015 10:22
Subsidies may only be subject to countervailing measures if they are specific i.e. only a limited number or type of companies or sectors of industry can avail of the subsidy or the subsidy is limited to certain regions. Subsidies contingent upon export performance and subsidies contingent upon the use of domestic over imported goods are always regarded as specific.
