Vietnam’s the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) is currently coordinating to deal with the case that Thailand is conducting an investigation against CRC imported from Vietnam.
Earlier on August 17, Thailand''s Ministry of Commerce officially announced on its Thai Royal Gazette that it will commence its investigation into the alleged dumping of cold rolled coil imports from China, Taiwan and Vietnam.
Plaintiffs from the Thai side are two companies: JFE Steel and Nippon Steel of Siam United Steel Company.
Thus, after the EU, U.S., Brazil, Indonesia ... Thailand is the next country conducting anti-dumping investigations for Vietnam''s steel.
From the beginning of the year, the Vietnamese steel exporters repeatedly faced anti-dumping lawsuits. Most recently, Brazil initiated an anti-dumping investigation on bicycle rubber tires imported from Vietnam and China and India; Malaysia anti-dumping investigation of paper BOPP.
