U.S. Imposes 22.34% Anti-dumping Tax on China's Gas Cylinder

BEIJING, Oct 14, 2011 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- China's Ministry of Commerce disclosed on October 13 that the U.S. Department of Commerce recently announced its initial ruling on anti-dumping investigations against steel high pressure gas cylinder from China.
Anti-subsidy tax rate on Beijing Tianhai Inudstry Co., Ltd., the only compulsory responding party in the case, stands at 22.34%, and the rate on other Chinese companies involved in this case is also 22.34%.
The US Department of Commerce will ask customs to charge security deposits or letters of guarantee based on this initial ruling. Besides, the department plans to make anti-subsidy verdict on this case on February 21, 2012 in accordance with investigation proceedings.
