U.S. Final AD Ruling on Chinese Optical Whitening Agents

On March 20, 2012, U.S. Department of Commerce announced a final anti-dumping (AD) ruling on optical whitening agents made in China mainland and Chinese Taiwan (see the table below).
As per the procedure, U.S. International Trade Commission will make a relevant final ruling of industrial injury on May 3 this year; if the injury ruling is affirmative, the Department of Commerce will issue the anti-dumping duty order on the Chinese products.
On April 20 last year, the Department started the anti-dumping probe under HS Codes: 32042080.00, 29336960.50, 29215940.00, 29215980.90.
