US decided to launch anti-dumping survey on China's steel pipe

Nov. 2 MetalBiz--China and US on October 29 reached the consensus promising to jointly oppose the trade and investment protectionism, but one day later, US International Trade Committee decided that US will launch anti-dumping investigation on China's steel products as the vote at the proportion of 6 to 0.
It is reported from UK media that US's move may result in imposing 100% tariff on China's steel pipe with US $382bln.
US Department of Commerce initially launched this investigation at the beginning of October at the request of US Steel Corp., V&MStar, TMKIPSCO and United Steel Workers of America.
These US companies exclaimed against the seamless steel pipe from China to US enjoyed the unfair subsidy from China government.
In the very recent time, US's president, Obama inked the decree that US levies the 35% punitive duty on the tyres of China's cars and light trucks for three years.
