Ukraine: Prime-Minister offers to impose zero import duties for rye and buckwheat

Nikholay Azarov, the Prime-Minister of Ukraine, submitted the project of the Law “On alternation to the Law of Ukraine “On the Customs tariff of Ukraine” (concerning changes of the customs duties for several varieties of food products)” for consideration by the Parliament of Ukraine.
According to the explanatory notes, the law project provides decreasing of the import duties for rye and buckwheat to the level of 0%.
The law will come into force after the day of the official publication and stay active till June 1, 2011.
The document is registered in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on October 12, 2010, under ?7243.
