Turkey Lifts Tariffs on Sabic Chemical Imports, Al-Watan Reports

Turkey has decided to lift tariffs on products from Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC), the world’s largest petrochemical maker, Al-Watan reported, citing Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud, the deputy oil minister.
Turkey is seeking to reduce its dependency on Iran, Energy Minister Taner Yildiz said yesterday. Tupras Turkiye Petrol Rafinerileri AS (TUPRS), Turkey’s sole refiner, is seeking to diversify energy sources and talking with Saudi Arabia and Libya, the minister said.
