Turkey – Investigation Safeguard measures on mobile phones

On December 5, 2014, Turkey notified WTO of the initiation of a safeguard investigation on mobile phones.

2. Goods under investigation: Mobile phones – HS Code: 8517.12.00.00.11
According to the statistics in Turkey's initiation of investigation to the Self-Defense Commission of WTO, Vietnam is the second largest exporter of this commodity (23.4%) after China (67.5%), with mineral export turnover of 603 million USD in the first 9 months of 2014.
