The U.S. Enterprise Petition for AD on Chinese Xanthan Gums

On June 5, CP Kelco, who represents U.S. local industry, petitioned U.S. Department of Commerce and International Trade Commission to take antidumping (AD) probe into xanthan gum products originating in China and Austria with 145.94% antidumping duty on the China-made products.
According to its petition, the U.S. imported 15,404 tons of xanthan gums from China in 2011, up 87.1% from 2009, worth USD 64.02 million or so.
