The U.S. Company Requests "Double Anti" on China's Steel Seamless High-Pressure Gas Cylinders

On May 11, 2011, U.S. Norris Cylinder Company requested U.S. Department of Commerce and International Trade Commission to launch anti-subsidy and anti-dumping investigations on steel seamless high-pressure gas cylinders originating in China.
According to investigation procedure, the U.S. Department of Commerce will make a decision of whether to launch the investigation within 20 days after receiving the application.
The products involved in this case are steel seamless high-pressure gas cylinders used in storing and transporting gas, main models including DOT3A, 3AX, 3AA, 3AAX, 3B, 3E, 3HT, 3T and so on; the largest water capacity is 450 liters, and the gas capacity is ranging from 8 to 702 cubic feet.
Such products are under U.S. HS codes of 7311.00.0030 and 7311.00.0090.
