The EU Made a Final Ruling of Anti-circumvention on China's Steel/Iron Fasteners

On July 26, 2011, the EU made a final ruling of anti-circumvention on steel/iron fasteners originating in China, deciding to impose antidumping duty of 85% on involved products transferred in Malaysia (no matter whether marked with originating in Malaysia or not), but excluding 8 Malaysian companies which are Acku Metal Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd, Chin Well Fasteners Company Sdn. Bhd, Jinfast Industries Sdn. Bhd, Power Steel and Electroplating Sdn. Bhd, Sofasco Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd, Tigges Fastener Technology (M) Sdn. Bhd, TI Metal Forgings Sdn. Bhd, United Bolt and Nut Sdn. Bhd.
The involved products are under EU HS codes ex73181290, ex73181491, ex73181499, ex73181559, ex73181569, ex73181581, ex73181589, ex73181590, ex73182100 and ex73182200.
In October 2010, the EU launched anti-circumvention investigation on China’s steel/iron fasteners.
