On Nov. 15, 2010, the European Commission issued an Announcement on the initiation of a sunset review investigation into steel wire ropes from China, South Africa, and Ukraine.
Since 1999, the EU has been imposing an anti-dumping duty of 60.4% on the steel wire ropes from China and upheld the original measures in the sunset review.
