Thai industrialists cry tainted over steel dumping

BANGKOK, Sept 19 — The Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) is seeking Commerce Ministry anti-dumping measures opposite China and South Korea for their steel exports to Thailand.
FTI clamp authority Songwoot Graipaspong pronounced Thai industrialists have been exceedingly influenced by a transfer of hot-rolled steel piece from China and boron-added coils, or chromium, from South Korea.
More than 300,000 tonnes of hot-rolled steel sheets have been exported by China to Thailand from Jan to Jul this year, and a volume will be as high as 400,000-500,000 tonnes during a finish of this year.
He pronounced 265,000 tonnes of boron-added coils have been alien from South Korea, adding that a volume is aloft than final year and there is a bent that it will be most higher, he added.
