Steel Wheels - The US investigates scope review

On August 7, 2023, the United States Department of Commerce (DOC) announced the initiation of an investigation into the scope review of steel wheels imported from Vietnam. Previously, on July 7, 2023, Dexstar Company, USA (the petitioner in the original anti-dumping (CBPG) and anti-subsidy (CTC) investigation case) submitted an application to the DOC requesting to investigate whether consider the extent to which steel wheels finished in Vietnam from Chinese-origin components are covered by the anti-dumping and anti-dumping duties imposed by the United States on similar Chinese products.
