Precision pipe and tube steel – Australia investigates anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures

On March 31, 2020, The Australia Anti Dumping Commision (ADC) announced the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation (AD) and anti-subsidy (CVD) investigation for precision pipe and tube steel originating in or exported from Vietnam, China, South Korea and Taiwan.
Relevant information:
1. Initiated date: March 31, 2020;
2. Products under investigation: Precision pipe and tube steel – HS Code: 7306.30; 7306.50; 7306.61 and 7306.69;
3. Preliminary decision:Australia decided to not impose any anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties against Vietnamese producer, while provisional anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties rates were set at 6,2% to 54,5% for Chinese and Korean producer.
