Pangang opposes AD move on Chinese seamless steel pipes

It is reported Pangang has strongly opposed on unreasonable punishment on Chinese made seamless steel pipes by Europe and United state during 8 day Holiday.

Some insiders from Pangang Group pointed out that company may respond to action on the investigation by itself. And seamless steel pipes are domestic major steel pipe products all the way.

Meanwhile, China's steel enterprises have to renovate their trading mix and promote industrial upgrading for the overall industrial enhancement by this opportunity.

The higher tariffs arouse some steelmakers’ great indignant which further aggravate domestic steel industrial competition and go against WTO trading principles.

US decided to launch an investigation of AD and CVD on the imports of seamless steel pipes from China on October 7th following EU final ruling of slapping 39.2% anti dumping tariffs on China seamless steel pipes one day before. And United State Commerce Department is announced to work out preliminary adjudication on China seamless steel pipes on November 2nd. Besides, their behaviors may exert some impacts on exports of other products which may directly damage the whole export trade environment.
