Nike brings Chinese footwear companies and a French supermarket to court

On July, 16th the American footwear company, Nike, sued two Chinese footwear companies and a French supermarket for breach of trademark copyright.
The two Chinese footwear companies, Jinjiang Kangwei Shoes Co Ltd and Jinjiang Longzhibu Shoes Co Ltd, were blamed by Nike for breach of its trademark copyright.
Nike said, that those companies print a picture of a basket ball player on their products is the breach of its brand copyright. The super star basket ball player Michael Jordan’s picture has been their registered brand.
Nike also sued a French supermarket for selling these two Chinese footwear companies’ products in its branches in Shanghai and Ningbo.
Shanghai tribunal number 2 is now investigating. No verdict has been announced.
