Govt mulls imposing anti-dumping duty on some auto parts

New Delhi (PTI): India is considering imposing anti- dumping duty on imports of front axle beam and steering knuckles used in the production of commercial vehicles to guard the domestic industry from cheap Chinese shipments into the country.

Anti-dumping duty on nylon tyre cord fabric extended

The Central Board of Excise and Customs has in a notification extended the special duty imposed on imports of nylon tyre cord fabrics from China for a period of another five years. This came about after the department initiated an investigation on expiry of the earlier term in September.
