The US Department of Commerce (DoC) has said the anti-dumping duty on shrimp imported from India is being increased from 0.79 per cent to 2.67 per cent. This was a blow to the exporters as they were expecting a reduction in duty. The hike was due to the failure of the Indian seafood exporters to present their case before the US officials with sufficient data.
