No.15/03/2007-DGAD – Whereas the Designated Authority, having regard to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 as amended in 1995 and the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Duty or Additional Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995, recommended imposition of provisional duty vide notification dated 18th January 2002 and provisional duty was imposed by the Govt. of India vide, notification No. 32/2002 dated 27th March 2002. The Authority issued its Final findings recommending imposition of definitive Anti Dumping Duty on imports of Caustic Soda (hereinafter referred to as subject goods) originating in or exported from Qatar, vide notification dated 07.10.2002 and definitive duty was imposed by the Govt. of India vide Notification No: 121/2002 dated 31.10.2002.
