Argentina - final measures on recordable compact disks

The Government of Argentina - by means of Resolution 83/2010 – has closed today the dumping investigation on imports of recordable compact disc (CD-R) (N.C.M. 8523.40.11) from Paraguay. The resolution imposed a minimum FOB export price of U$S 0.25 and the measure will be in force for a 2-year period. The resolution also accepted a price commitment made by a Paraguayan company, which consists in a FOB export price of U$S 0.115 for a 2 year period.

WASHINGTON, Sep. 29, 2010 (Xinhua News Agency) -- The U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday passed the proposed Currency Reform for Fair Trade Act, to allow the United States to seek trade sanctions against its trade partners for allegedly manipulating their currency, a new move of the nation's rising trade protectionism.
