ITC keeps Japan, Romania anti-dumping duties in place
12/09/2011 12:00
The U.S. International Trade Commission, concluding a "sunset" review, has determined that revoking the existing anti-dumping duties on carbon and alloy seamless standard, line and pressure pipe from Japan and Romania would likely lead to material injury.
As a result of the affirmative determinations, the duty existing orders will remain in place.
Vice chairman Irving A. Williamson and commissioners Charlotte R. Lane, Shara L. Aranoff and Dean A. Pinkert voted in the affirmative with respect to all orders. Chairman Deanna Tanner Okun and commissioner Daniel R. Pearson made affirmative determinations with respect to large- and small-diameter pipe from Japan and voted in the negative with respect to small-diameter pipe from Romania.
