India initiated anti-dumping investigation on imports of Fully Drawn Yarn from Vietnam

On 06/05/2008, Idia initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports ofAll Fully Drawn or Fully Oriented Yarn/Spin Draw Yarn/Flat Yarn of Polyester(FDY) from China PR,ThailandandVietnam

In the application of domestic industry,Taiwan is proposed to be the third country fordetermining normal value for China PR andVietnam. For this purpose the applicant hasconstructed the normal value forTaiwan. ForThailand,the normal value has been constructed forThailand.

The period of investigation (POI) for the purpose of presentinvestigation is 1st October 2006 to 30th September 2007 (12 months). The injury investigation period will howevercover the periods April,2004-March,05, April,2005–March,2006,April,2006-March,2007 and the POI.

The exporters and importers known to be concerned anddomestic industry are being informed separately to enable them to file allinformation relevant in the form and manner prescribed. Any informationrelating to this investigation should be sent in writing so as to reach the Authority at the above address not later than 40 days from the date ofpublication of this notification.
